Job summary

Club4 Fitness Lafayette is seeking a part-time Manager on Duty to assist in gym operations and staff oversight. The role includes weekday and weekend shifts, with rotation among CLUB Assistant General Managers, and a focus on delivering exceptional member service and sales activities.

Responsibilities cover front desk tasks, staff scheduling, training, and ensuring a welcoming, clean facility. CPR and a high school diploma are preferred qualifications for this position.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Strong supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM and AGMs in training and developing a high performing staff.
• Sales duties: make calls to prospective members and follow up via online communications.
• Provide backup support to Club management when needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff and resolve employee issues.
• Handle front desk tasks: answer phones, check in members, sign up new members, conduct tours.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies within budget.
• Track statistics and generate reports (weekly, monthly, annually).
• Backup for absent staff members.
