Job summary

The Lodge & Club Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a full-time Gym Front Desk colleague to be the first point of contact for members and guests at the fitness center. You will deliver exceptional service, manage front desk operations, and support daily fitness center activities from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing towels and amenities, answering calls, maintaining logs, and operating the POS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• CPR/AED certification required; provided if not currently obtained.
• Hospitality/customer service experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn and operate POS systems.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and split shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist members and guests entering the fitness center.
• Provide towels, locker access, and guest amenities as needed.
• Answer fitness center phone calls and route messages.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and fitness area.
• Learn and operate the POS system and process sales transactions.
• Register and sign in new members.
• Attend trainings and safety courses as required.
• Identify and report safety concerns and help maintain a safe environment.
