Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

Purpose

The Facility Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure smooth facility operations and enhance member experience. The role requires engagement, diligence, organization, and excellent customer service skills.

Deliverables

• Communication: Provide daily updates and document work performed, seek feedback from the General Manager.
• Scheduling & Planning: Coordinate with the General Manager to schedule and verify work completion.
• Inspection and Testing: Ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
• Safety: Maintain safety standards for members, staff, and assets.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctions.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct inspections and preventive tasks via CMMS.
• Repairs: Fix mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Work Orders: Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and building codes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders daily.
• Equipment Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee and service gym equipment and building systems.
• Emergency Response: Address urgent issues quickly.
• Team Collaboration: Work with staff, contractors, and vendors.
• General Upkeep: Perform tasks like painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include experience in maintenance or related fields. The role is entry-level, full-time, and falls under management and manufacturing job functions within the health, wellness, and fitness industry.
