Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs in the greater Raleigh, NC area. You will install, maintain, and repair fitness equipment and oversee building systems while adhering to safety regulations.

The role requires on-call availability, nights and weekends, and a valid driver's license. Company vehicle is provided along with travel reimbursements. Competitive benefits are offered to eligible Team Players.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems
• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds
• Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
• Travel will be necessary; a valid driver’s license is needed; company provides vehicle
