Job summary

Planet Fitness, Inc. seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs in the greater Raleigh, NC area. You will install, maintain, and repair fitness equipment, and perform upkeep across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.

The role requires on-call availability for maintenance emergencies, nights and weekends, and travel with company vehicle provided. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices.
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
• Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed.
