Planet Fitness in Connecticut is seeking a General Manager to lead a club team and drive financial results through member and staff experiences. You will recruit and develop staff, maintain a clean, welcoming environment, and partner with local communities to grow membership and EFT per member, while controlling payroll and expenses.

The role requires exceptional service, brand alignment, and the ability to manage daily operations and performance metrics in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a high-volume environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general technology.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, manage, train, and develop staff including Assistant Manager and Front Desk.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and deliver best-in-class member service.
• Drive club revenue growth through membership, EFT per member, and retail.
• Set and track performance across operational metrics.
• Coordinate field marketing and community partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with policies, inventory, and confidentiality.
