Job summary

Planet Fitness in Danbury, CT seeks a General Manager to lead a dynamic team, deliver exceptional member experiences, and drive same-store revenue growth.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage payroll and inventory, and partner with local businesses to increase memberships and EFT per member. The role requires weekend flexibility, strong communication, and a commitment to PF brand excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing a team in a high-volume environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general technology

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, manage, train, and develop staff including supervisors and front desk personnel
• Drive membership growth and revenue through effective sales and marketing efforts
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming club environment and outstanding member service
• Monitor payroll, staffing, and scheduling to meet budgeted hours
• Lead local community events and partnerships to grow membership and EFT per member
• Maintain adherence to PF brand standards and operating procedures
