Job summary

Southern Research in Chicago seeks an Application Administrator to support validated enterprise and laboratory systems, including Provantis LIMS, across Quality, Toxicology, Bioanalytical and Facilities. You will manage user access, configurations, validation activities, change control, documentation, and vendor interactions to keep systems audit-ready in a GxP environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or life sciences, or equivalent experience.
4+ years in a Laboratory, Quality, or IT role with admin of Provantis or Pristima and related systems.
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and software ticketing systems.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

User Access Management: Provision user accounts, assign roles and manage permissions.
System Configuration: Setup and maintain application settings, security, metadata, and workflows.
Compliance and Validation: Support CSV/validation activities, SOPs, and user training.
Change Management: Lead/configure changes and coordinate with stakeholders.
Application Support: Investigate and resolve technical and business issues; liaise with vendors.
