Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Operations Engineer to support regulated bioanalytical labs, including instrument validation, maintenance scheduling, and system administration. The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration with IT, risk, and facilities to ensure compliance with GxP practices and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Must have GLP/GMP laboratory experience.
• Proven validation activities and quality functions.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with multitasking capabilities to manage multiple schedules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Information teams, infrastructure, and risk/security to support regulated bioanalytical labs.
• Support lifecycle of GxP equipment: acquisition, installation, maintenance, retirement.
• Apply computer system validation for lab equipment (liquid handlers, plate readers, PCR).
• Maintain service schedules and calibration/maintenance per SOPs.
• Coordinate service with vendors, engineers, and facilities staff.
• Develop knowledge of lab equipment like liquid handlers and PCR systems.
• Serve as system administrator for equipment applications, including temperature monitoring.
• Promote cross-site support and process improvement across bioanalytical labs.
• Engage in routine operations supporting continuous improvement culture.
• Assist in developing reporting, analytics, and visualization for operations.
• Ensure automation systems remain validated under lifecycle management and GXP compliance.
• Review documents, maintenance, and SOPs for GxP compliance and safety.
• Enhance LAMP infrastructure to track PM within the client’s department.
• Provide compliance support for PM and corrective maintenance in electronic logbook.
• Oversee outsourced pipette calibration; generate and review out-of-calibration reports.
• Perform Hamilton verification after PM/CM and log results.
• Apply technical knowledge to operate automated processing and IT systems.
• Participate in compliance audits and training; provide client services for lab applications.
