ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Technical Lab IT Manager to lead and support laboratory IT systems in a regulated GxP environment. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with leadership to ensure reliability, security, compliance, and performance of laboratory systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience supporting laboratory IT systems in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GxP regulations (GMP/GLP/GCP) and ALCOA+ principles.
• Experience administering LIMS and laboratory data management systems.
• Hands-on experience with analytical lab instruments and software applications.
• Knowledge of databases, backups, disaster recovery, and enterprise storage technologies.
• Experience with client-server environments, licensing, hosting, and access management.
• Networking concepts including VLANs, firewalls, TCP/IP, and secure access controls.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Python automation.
• Experience troubleshooting complex issues across multiple support levels.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support laboratory instrumentation and applications including HPLC, Unicorn, SoftMax Pro, Nephlometers, and similar platforms.
• Maintain LIMS and related data management solutions such as MyLab Data.
• Manage lab IT infrastructure, including databases, storage, and hosting.
• Ensure GxP compliance, ALCOA+ data integrity, validation, and audit readiness.
• Lead and mentor laboratory IT engineers and coordinate team activities.
