Job summary

The City of Baltimore, Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (MONSE), is seeking a GVRS Intervention Specialist to provide targeted support to youth and adults facing behavioral, emotional, academic, or social challenges, through assessment and individualized service planning.

You will collaborate with families, schools, and community partners; deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation; track progress with case notes; participate in multidisciplinary teams; and connect

Qualifications

• Experience assessing behavioral, emotional, and social needs.
• Ability to develop individualized intervention plans.
• Proven skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify needs and risks.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans.
• Provide direct one-on-one and group interventions using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
• Collaborate with families, educators, case managers, and community providers.
• Track and document progress with accurate case notes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
• Connect participants to community resources and supports.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
