Job summary

Veridian Service Partners is seeking a Gunite Laborer to join the team responsible for applying the structural concrete shell of in-ground pools. The job is outdoors and physically demanding, offering strong pay, a supportive team environment, and chances for advancement for those who show initiative.

As part of the gunite crew, you will assist with setup, mixing, spraying, shaping, and cleanup, using hand tools, and lifting 50+ lbs. Reliable transportation to Houston is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior construction or concrete experience preferred.
• Physically strong and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
• Team player who can take direction and hustle.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in dusty environments.
• Reliable transportation to and from office in Houston.

Responsibilities

• Support the gunite crew in setup, mixing, and cleanup
• Assist nozzleman with spraying and shaping gunite
• Use hand tools to shape and smooth concrete
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow instructions from foreman and adhere to safety protocols
