Concrete Finisher

Royal Pools G2 Landscaping is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and a passion for creating high‑quality outdoor spaces, particularly in pool construction and related projects. This role involves working with various concrete applications to ensure exceptional finishes that meet our high standards.

Location: 1512 Joliet St. Dyer, IN 46311

Job Type: Full-time (March‑November)

Key Responsibilities:

• Concrete Placement: Pour, level, and finish concrete for pool decks, patios, and other outdoor installations.
• Surface Finishing: Use tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers to achieve smooth, even surfaces and desired textures.
• Formwork: Construct and set up forms for concrete pours, ensuring they are secure and properly aligned.
• Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by grading and leveling areas to ensure proper drainage and alignment.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to meet project specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including laborers and supervisors, to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in concrete finishing are a plus.
• Proven experience as a concrete finisher, preferably in pool construction or outdoor design.
• Strong knowledge of concrete properties, finishing techniques, and safety practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
