Job summary

Veridian Service Partners in Houston, TX is seeking a Gunite Laborer to join our outdoor concrete crew. The role involves applying the structural concrete shell for in-ground pools, outdoors, physically demanding, with opportunities for advancement for those who show initiative and reliability.

You'll support the gunite crew with setup, mixing, spraying, shaping gunite, and maintaining a clean, safe job site while following foreman instructions and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2 years of construction or concrete experience preferred.
• Physically strong and able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the Houston work site.
• Team player who can follow directions and hustle.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the gunite crew in setup, mixing, and cleanup.
• Assist nozzleman with spraying and shaping gunite.
• Use hand tools to shape and smooth concrete.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Follow foreman instructions and safety protocols.
