Solairus Aviation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities on assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with CFRs, manufacturer recommendations, and company policies. The role includes budgeting, training coordination with the DOM/CAM, and supervising maintenance personnel to maintain airworthiness.

The incumbent will maintain valid A&P credentials, manage records, and liaise with the FAA while upholding safety and operational readiness across bases.

Formación

• 10+ years in corporate aircraft maintenance operations.
• Strong knowledge of CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Ability to plan and direct maintenance programs and control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s recommendations and company policies.
• Coordinate maintenance training requirements with the DOM and/or CAM.
• Develop a budget outlining and projecting financial expenses related to aircraft maintenance, parts & labor, tooling, equipment and base facilities.
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft.
• Participates in the Safety Management Systems; and assumes duties delegated by the DOM, Manager of Maintenance Operations, and CAM.
• Supervises aircraft maintenance personnel (both company employees and non-company personnel), and ensures quality and completeness of maintenance.
• Coordinate with AMOs and conduct vendor evaluations for outside maintenance.
• Ensure complete records of inspections, repairs and component changes, airframe flight time, engine times, ADs and FAA maintenance instructions are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Remove unsafe aircraft and ensure airworthiness of aircraft returned to service.
• Ensure operational readiness of aircraft with minimal schedule impact.
• Serve as liaison between the company and the FAA.
• Maintain certification and recency requirements per 14 CFR 65.83.
• Perform internal audits of tool calibration and material control.
