The Mission
Deliver exceptional, safety-first flight operations for Gulfstream and its customers. As Captain, you’ll operate Gulfstream aircraft as a core member of the Flight Operations team, ensuring every mission is expertly planned, precisely executed, and aligned with company standards and customer expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Operate as a crew member in accordance with the Gulfstream Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and SOPs.
- Conduct domestic flights and, when qualified, international flights in support of multiple mission profiles.
- Support Airborne Customer Support, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, aircraft demonstrations, maintenance flights, and production testing.
- Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with flight planning, coordination, and risk management to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Coordinate aircraft issue assessment and repair with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations.
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and customers; represent Gulfstream and General Dynamics as a professional ambassador.
- Manage assigned ancillary responsibilities and uphold all corporate policies and procedures.
What You’ll Bring
- Five (5) years of professional pilot experience in the aviation industry.
- Flight time meeting one of the following pathways (see below).
- Certificates/Medical: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (unrestricted or restricted) and current First-Class FAA Medical required upon hire.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Gulfstream type rating.
Minimum Flight-Time Pathways
- 1,500 hours total flight time; or
- 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in turbine-powered aircraft.
Required totals: 1,500 hours total time and/or 1,000 hours turbine PIC as outlined above.
