Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks a Captain - Flight Ops for the GAC Savannah operation. You will lead flight operations domestically and internationally, act as a brand ambassador, and ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service in every flight.

The position requires ATPL at hire, 1500 hours total time (or 1000 PIC on turbine aircraft), and a strong background in Gulfstream operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.
• 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft.
• ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required.
• Other 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally (when qualified) in support of ACS, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, maintenance, production test, and other functions.
• Must possess broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations.
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and customers.
• Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities.
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures.
• Coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed.
• Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity.
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities.
• Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.
