Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking a Captain – Flight Ops to lead and manage Gulfstream aircraft operations domestically and internationally. The role requires extensive flight experience and a current ATPL, with responsibilities spanning ACS support, corporate transport, and demonstrations.

You will coordinate with maintenance and operations teams, ensure adherence to FOM/SOP, and act as a brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience to perform essential functions.
• Minimum 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot.
• Minimum 1500 hours total flight time or 1000 hours PIC of turbine powered aircraft.
• ATPL required upon hire.
• First Class FAA Medical Certificate required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally in support of ACS, corporate transportation, and related functions.
• Maintain broad knowledge of flight operations and coordinate with Gulfstream personnel.
• Coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed.
• Assist with planning and coordination of flight activity and ensure safe, efficient conduct of all flight activities.
• Be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.. 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft. Gulfstream type rating preferred.. ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required. Other 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.

Position Purpose:Act as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

1. In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
2. Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
3. Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers .
4. Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
5. Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
6. Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .

Additional Functions:

1. Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity .
2. Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities .
3. Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics .
