Job summary

AF Group is seeking a results-driven Scrum Master to coach and guide agile teams within our insurance-focused software delivery environment in the Philadelphia area. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove blockers, and partner with Product Manager and Senior management to ensure quality delivery to customers.

You will lead one or more teams, apply best practices in agile/scrum, and help build self-organizing teams.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive responsibility as a scrum master/agile project manager in an insurance environment.
• Proven experience as a scrum master on several successful software development projects involving multiple developers.
• Strong facilitation, communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates sprint planning, daily standups, demos and refactoring sessions.
• Coaches and guides agile teams, ensuring self-organization and delivery excellence.
• Partners with Product Manager and Senior management to ensure quality delivery to customers.
• Escalates issues and coordinates cross-team dependencies.
• Facilitates effective backlog management and prioritization using agile tools.
