This is a contract role for a Guidewire Developer. The role is hybrid, based in Hartford, CT with some work-from-home flexibility. The Guidewire Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Guidewire applications. Daily tasks will include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software in accordance with technical requirements. The developer will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure the smooth operation and enhancement of Guidewire systems.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Proficiency in Programming languages
• Experience with Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
