Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, physics, CS, applied math or similar STEM degree
• 8+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
• Strong math skills including linear algebra, dynamics and state estimation
• Experience with various simulation/test environments (6-DOF IFS, HWIL, flight tests)
• Proficiency with Git and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, FORTRAN or Ada
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work collaboratively
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, verify and test guidance, navigation and control algorithms for aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles and upper stages
• Perform statistical processing of data and simulate physical reality within algorithms
• Contribute to control design and analysis to meet mission requirements
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
