The Role
Key Responsibilities
Admissions Counseling & Application Support
- Guide students through the college application process for Ivy League and top global universities.
- Assist students in crafting compelling Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and application essays.
- Advise students on university selection, course choices, and application timelines.
- Conduct mock interviews and help students build strong academic and extracurricular profiles.
- Ensure students meet deadlines and application requirements for target universities.
- Provide personalized career counseling sessions to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
- Develop and implement career assessment tests to guide students in making informed educational choices.
- Offer guidance on skill development, internships, and extracurricular activities to enhance student profiles.
- Stay updated on trends in international education, student mobility, and career opportunities.
School Outreach & Relationship Management
- Identify and establish partnerships with international and local schools, including principals, counselors, and academic advisors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with educational institutions, student communities, and parent networks.
- Deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and counseling sessions for students and parents on global university admissions, test preparation, and career planning.
- Serve as a liaison between Globestar and schools, ensuring smooth communication and coordination for student enrollments.
- Develop strategies to expand school outreach and strengthen Globestar’s reputation in the region.
Marketing & School Visits
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness and student enrollment.
- Conduct school visits to engage with students, parents, and school administrators, promoting Globestar’s services.
- Develop and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Utilize social media and digital marketing strategies to enhance visibility and outreach.
- Monitor and analyze marketing efforts, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and conversions.
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and execute in-school events, student workshops, parent seminars, and career fairs.
- Coordinate logistics for events, ensuring seamless execution, vendor coordination, and effective audience engagement.
- Represent Globestar at education expos, university fairs, and industry networking events to build brand awareness.
- Develop event materials, presentations, and promotional content to enhance student participation and engagement.
- Analyze event performance and engagement metrics, providing feedback for future improvements.
Communication & Reporting
- Act as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and educational institutions regarding admissions, test prep, and career counseling.
- Ensure professional and effective communication in English with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Provide regular reports on outreach activities, student enrollments, event outcomes, and market insights.
- Work closely with admissions, test prep, and counseling teams to optimize student engagement strategies.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in education counseling, career guidance, or admissions consulting.
- Proven track record of guiding students through university applications, SOP/LOR writing, and career planning.
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and execute student outreach programs, workshops, and career counseling sessions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Comfortable with traveling within the region for school visits, events, and partnership meetings.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and well-organized.
