Job summary

Hireology is seeking a diligent Houseperson to support the Housekeeping department in maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and storage areas. The role involves assisting Room Attendants, cleaning carpets and floors, and stocking linen supplies to ensure a spotless hotel environment.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning of guest areas, handling linen distribution, and safely managing equipment. This is a full-time role reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintains guestrooms, working areas, and hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner
• Assists Room Attendants by stripping vacant rooms
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture with vacuum, broom, and shampoo machine
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, waxes and polishes floors
• Cleans guest hallways, rooms, and restrooms daily
• Handles linen supplies, distributes linen to closets, and organizes linen/storage areas
• Cleans and organizes storage closets, elevator landings, and other housekeeping areas
• Takes items to guests when requested and ensures proper care of equipment
