Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to clean and maintain guest rooms and hotel areas in line with brand standards. The role focuses on delivering a clean, safe, welcoming environment while supporting productivity and service quality.

You will follow room-cleaning procedures, report maintenance issues, and interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and be prepared to begin work at the scheduled start time.
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow all hotel attendance and call-out procedures.
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to established hotel and brand standards.
• Make beds and replace bed linens, pillowcases, and blankets as required.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
• Dust, wipe, and clean furniture, countertops, appliances, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as appropriate.
• Empty trash and replace trash liners.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, amenities, paper products, and other guest supplies.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, damage, missing items, and maintenance concerns.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and room deficiencies to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Follow room-cleaning procedures and complete assigned rooms within established productivity expectations.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and assigned equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Properly handle and transport dirty and clean linens.
• Follow proper procedures for lost-and-found items and immediately report items found in guest rooms.
• Protect guest privacy and personal belongings at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for entering occupied guest rooms.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Follow all hotel, company, Hilton brand, OSHA, health, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform and name badge.
• Respond courteously and professionally when interacting with guests.
• Report guest complaints or service concerns to management promptly.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects, special cleaning assignments, and other housekeeping projects as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned back-of-house and housekeeping areas.
• Complete all assigned work before the end of the scheduled shift unless otherwise authorized by management.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
