Job summary

Courtyard Dayton is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while delivering attentive, courteous service to guests. The role involves cleaning rooms to standards, restocking carts, and reporting maintenance needs for a smooth operation.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication with guests and colleagues. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry objects.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
