Job summary

Embassy Suites Grand Rapids Downtown is seeking a diligent housekeeper to maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to brand standards. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, safety, and efficient room turnover, with opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Shifts include 1st shift with a starting wage of $16.00/hour plus a $2.00/hour weekend premium. This position can also be used as a paid internship.

Qualifications

• No formal education is required.
• Ability to interpret information and perform arithmetic functions.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Communicate with housekeeping leadership about room status and maintenance needs.
• Inspect rooms for safety and report issues to supervisors.
• Stock and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Clean rooms according to standards and restock amenities.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
