Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms at the Tru by Hilton Orlando Convention Center. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long shifts, and excellent guest service communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective communication with guests and team members at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
