Job summary

AC Hotel Medford, part of Colwen Hotels, is seeking motivated housekeepers to join our team in Medford, MA. You will clean and stock guest rooms following brand standards while prioritizing safety and privacy, and respond promptly to guest requests.

The role requires efficient work and a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced hotel environment. Candidates should have prior hotel housekeeping experience and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, hotel experience preferred
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Respect privacy of guests and maintain discretion
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
• Ability to work with little supervision and meet high standards
• Friendly interaction with guests

Responsibilities

• Receive list of assigned rooms from supervisor and prioritize rooms
• Clean, stock and maintain assigned guest rooms according to brand standards
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Check inventory of cleaning cart and transport to rooms
• Ensure privacy of guests at all times
• Knock and announce before entering rooms; return if occupied
• Restock amenities and supplies in rooms
• Make beds and stock bath linens
• Disinfect bathrooms and in-room coffee stations
• Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms
• Check appliances and keep room in working order
• Dust, polish furniture and remove marks
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors
• Notify maintenance of needed repairs
• Ensure room meets hotel standards with final walk around
• Take found items to the lost and found area
• Perform other duties as requested
