Highgate Hotels in Warwick, RI seeks a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while delivering attentive, courteous service to guests.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long shifts, and communicate effectively with guests and staff. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, with benefits supporting health and financial security.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand during entire shift and communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways and public areas clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
