Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is seeking a Guestroom Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of guestrooms and private residences, ensuring all standards are met before guest occupancy. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking amenities, handling guest requests, and maintaining readiness for turndown service. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of all guestrooms and/or private residences, including fixtures and equipment.
• Monitors guestroom equipment to ensure items are in working order.
• Completes assigned number of rooms to clean during a shift.
• Participates in detail cleaning of guestrooms as per the hotel’s Perfect Room Program (PRP).
• Replaces dirty towels and sheets with clean linen from storage closets.
• Sanitizes all areas of the guestroom (bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen) per procedure.
• Makes beds and prepares rooms for occupancy.
• Retrieves and delivers guest requests as needed.
• Replenishes guest amenities (shampoo, lotions, etc.) in each room.
• Refills coffee/tea supplies and mini-bar items.
• Places rooms in turndown status and releases rooms after inspection.
• Inspects and releases own rooms ensuring adherence to standards.

Key Elements of the Job

• Maintains cleanliness ofall guestroomand/or private residences– vacuuming, dusting, cleaning ofall guestroom surfaces (includingmirrors, furniture, floors,bathroom fixtures, etc.) ensuring they are streak andmark-free

• Monitors guestroomequipmentto ensure all items are in working order

• Completes assignednumber ofrooms to clean during a shift

• Participates in the detail cleaning of guestrooms as assignedin accordance withthe hotel’sPerfect Room Program (PRP).

• Removesand replacesdirty towels and sheetswith clean product fromthe linen storage closets.

• Sanitizesall areas of theguestroom(bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom, kitchenareas) according to procedure

• Makes bed

• Removesroom servicetrays,dishesand carts to service landings

• Stocksguestroomlinenintheappropriate storageareason guest floors

• Retrievesand deliversguest requestsas needed

• Replenishesguest amenities (i.e. shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens,etc…) in each room

• Refillscoffee/tea supplies, itsaccompaniments, and mini-bar items

• Placesrooms in turndown statusas assigned

• Inspects and releases own rooms,ensuring adherence to all standards

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to read, write and speak English

• PreviousHousekeeping experience preferred, but notrequired
