Job summary

Renaissance Milwaukee West is seeking a Restaurant Host(ess) to join our Restaurant Team in Eldr+Rime. You will create a welcoming first impression, manage seating and reservations, and support the dining room to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
• Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating arrangements in accordance with restaurant standards
• Escort guests to tables and present menus as needed
• Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status, guest needs, and service flow
• Monitor dining room activity to ensure balanced seating and optimal guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
• Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and responding to guest inquiries
• Provide accurate information regarding menu items, specials, and hotel facilities when appropriate
• Support servers and bussers during peak periods as needed
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude toward guests and associates at all times
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards
