Disney Live Entertainment in Anaheim, CA seeks a Guest Talent Assistant (Seasonal) to support resort events under the Guest Talent Programs. You will help manage logistics, inform guests, and coordinate creative accommodations while upholding Disney policies and show standards.

The role reports to the Guest Talent & Imagination Campus Manager and offers variability in hours with no guarantee of permanent placement. Pay is $26.75 per hour with select benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Performing Arts/Education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily logistics, transportation, and technical arrangements for each event.
  • Stay informed of event details and policies for Guest Talent Programs.
  • Provide guests with complete information and day-of instructions.
  • Accommodate group needs within policies, show standards, and time constraints.
  • Identify and arrange solutions for potential event problems.
  • Report event details including ticketing and merchandise distribution.
  • Use computer, iPhone, radio, and landline for daily communication.
  • Collaborate with Cast Members across departments and guests globally.

As a Guest Talent Assistant (Seasonal), you will assist with executing various resort events under the scope of Disney Live Entertainment. Guest Talent Assistants (Seasonal) assist in the operation of Disneyland Resort Guest Talent Programs events for Disney Imagination Campus and potential Company & Client-based events.

You will report to the Guest Talent & Imagination Campus Manager.

This is a seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly hours, as it will fluctuate with the business needs, and no guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage daily logistics, transportation, and technical arrangements to be made for each assigned event
  • Stay informed of multiple details regarding the arrangements for each Guest group, and Resort and Guest Talent Programs policy
  • Provide Guest groups with complete, accurate information and instructions to guide them through their day
  • Creatively accommodate the group's needs while working within our practical limits: time constraints, Disney policies, show standards, etc
  • Identify potential event problems or special support requirements, and make arrangements for solutions
  • Report the details of each event, including ticketing, merchandise distribution, performance, and logistical information
  • Use a computer, iPhone, radio, and landline phone for daily operational communication
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team, including partnering with Cast Members from several departments and guests from around the world
  • Control vehicle traffic while wearing a safety vest and carrying a stop sign to facilitate the needs of internal partner operations

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to creatively problem-solve
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions within a theme park environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate a calm, professional, and positive demeanor in a frenetic work environment while maintaining a solid work ethic
  • Close familiarity with educational or community-based performing arts or educational groups
  • Experience working with or leading large groups
  • Comfortable navigating throughout a theme park environment for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work all holidays, nights, and weekends, as needed by the business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Participation, understanding, and passion for students, education, and the arts
  • Bilingual skills
  • Background in or knowledge of performing arts, or event coordination
  • Working knowledge of Disney Entertainment Productions and the Disneyland Resort

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in the Performing Arts and/or Education is preferred
