Disney Live Entertainment in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Guest Talent Assistant (Seasonal) to support executing resort events and the Guest Talent Programs. You will report to the Guest Talent & Imagination Campus Manager and assist in the operation of events for Disney Imagination Campus and client-based events.

This seasonal role has no guaranteed weekly hours or permanent placement; you will work outdoors in all weather, coordinating logistics, guiding guests, and collaborating with Cast Members

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts or Education preferred.
  • Experience with large groups and performing arts education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily logistics, transportation, and technical arrangements for each event.
  • Provide guests with complete information and instructions for their day.
  • Accommodate group needs within time constraints, policies, and show standards.
  • Identify potential event problems and arrange solutions.
  • Report event details including ticketing, merchandise and logistics.
  • Use computer, iPhone, radio, and landline for daily communication.
  • Work independently and as part of a team with Cast Members from multiple departments.
  • Control vehicle traffic with safety vest and stop sign for internal operations.

Guest Talent Assistant (Seasonal) - Events

As a Guest Talent Assistant (Seasonal), you will assist with executing various resort events under the scope of Disney Live Entertainment. Guest Talent Assistants (Seasonal) assist in the operation of Disneyland® Resort Guest Talent Programs events for Disney Imagination Campus and potential Company & Client-based events. You will report to the Guest Talent & Imagination Campus Manager. This is a seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly hours, as it will fluctuate with the business needs, and no guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage daily logistics, transportation, and technical arrangements to be made for each assigned event
  • Stay informed of multiple details regarding the arrangements for each Guest group, and Resort and Guest Talent Programs policy
  • Provide Guest groups with complete, accurate information and instructions to guide them through their day
  • Creatively accommodate the group's needs while working within our practical limits: time constraints, Disney policies, show standards, etc
  • Identify potential event problems or special support requirements, and make arrangements for solutions
  • Report the details of each event, including ticketing, merchandise distribution, performance, and logistical information
  • Use a computer, iPhone, radio, and landline phone for daily operational communication
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team, including partnering with Cast Members from several departments and guests from around the world
  • Control vehicle traffic while wearing a safety vest and carrying a stop sign to facilitate the needs of internal partner operations
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions within a theme park environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate a calm, professional, and positive demeanor in a frenetic work environment while maintaining a solid work ethic
  • Close familiarity with educational or community-based performing arts or educational groups
  • Experience working with or leading large groups
  • Comfortable navigating throughout a theme park environment for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work all holidays, nights, and weekends, as needed by the business
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation, understanding, and passion for students, education, and the arts
  • Bilingual skills
  • Background in or knowledge of performing arts, or event coordination
  • Working knowledge of Disney Entertainment Productions and the Disneyland® Resort
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in the Performing Arts and/or Education is preferred

The pay rate for this role in Anaheim, CA is $26.75 per hour.
