Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum age of 21 years at time of hire.
• Valid Kansas driver's license; CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement preferred; Class C license considered based on assigned fleet vehicle capacity.
• Clean MVR: no DUI/DWI convictions within past 5 years; no more than 2 moving violations within past 3 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a KRGC Occupation License, including background check and fingerprinting.
• Prior experience in passenger transportation, shuttle operations, hospitality transport, or related customer service role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact positively with the public.
• Basic proficiency in written and spoken English for documentation and radio communication.
• Previous gaming/hospitality environment experience is a plus.
• First Aid/CPR certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a passenger shuttle bus or van along assigned routes, following regulations.
• Transport guests and team members between facility, parking lots, partner hotels, and satellite pickup points.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT/FMCSA; document findings.
• Adhere to Kansas traffic laws and posted speed limits at all times.
• Assist guests with boarding/alighting, including mobility-impaired; provide ADA-compliant service.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Monitor passenger capacity and ensure seating compliance.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations via radio or company device.
• Document trip logs, mileage, incident reports, and fuel usage.
• Respond to emergencies per procedures; coordinate with security.
• Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain punctuality; notify of absences per attendance policy.
