Job summary

Gilley’s in Kansas is seeking a Shuttle Bus Driver to transport guests and team members safely between pickup locations, parking lots, hotels, and satellite points. You will be a frontline brand ambassador, ensuring ADA-compliant service and professional conduct at all times.

This role requires strict adherence to DOT/Kansas regulations, strong customer service skills, and the ability to operate ADA-accessible vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; may consider equivalent experience.
• Minimum age 21 years at time of hire.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license; CDL with P endorsement preferred; Class C license considered based on vehicle capacity.
• Clean MVR: no DUI/DWI in past 5 years; no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• KRGC Occupation License with background check and fingerprinting.
• Prior experience in passenger transportation or related customer service preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with the public.
• Basic English for documentation and radio communications.
• Experience in gaming/hospitality transport preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification from a recognized provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle bus/van on routes per schedule or on call.
• Transport guests and employees between facility, parking lots, hotels, and satellite points.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document findings.
• Adhere to Kansas laws, rules, and posted speed limits.
• Assist guests with boarding/alighting; ADA-compliant service.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior/exterior; report maintenance needs.
• Monitor passenger capacity and seating compliance.
• Communicate with dispatch and staff via radio or device.
• Document trip logs, mileage, incidents, fuel usage.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with security/management.
• Report suspicious activity; follow safety procedures.
• Maintain punctuality and notify ahead of absences per policy.
