Job summary

Sunday River Resort in Newry, Maine, seeks a Transportation Driver to move guests and Team Members safely around the resort. You will deliver friendly, proactive service and help answer guest questions about the area and services.

Responsibilities include operating vans, buses, or trolleys on designated routes, performing safety checks, maintaining a clean vehicle, and meeting department goals. Early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work early mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior guest service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests and Team Members around the resort via a specified route in either a passenger van, bus, or trolley.
• Transport Team Members residing in staff housing on weekly trips to the grocery store and into town.
• Responsible for accurate and complete vehicle safety operation checklist.
• The driver is responsible for safety checks and preparation of the vehicle.
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle, as well as safe transport of passengers and equipment with a strong emphasis on guest service.
• Maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by the Transportation Manager.
