Job summary

Sunday River Resort in Newry, ME is seeking a transportation driver to move guests and Team Members around the resort on a defined route using a passenger van, bus, or trolley.

The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a CDL with passenger endorsement. You will be responsible for daily vehicle safety checks, keeping the vehicle clean, and meeting service-level objectives while providing excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement required.
• Ability to work early mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests and Team Members around the resort on a defined route using a passenger van, bus, or trolley.
• Safely operate and perform safety checks and vehicle prep as required.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any issues to management.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set by Transportation Manager.

Overview

Join Sunday River's transportation team and help transport guests and Team Members throughout the resort in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and enjoy interacting with guests and answering any and all questions they may have about the resort. Patience, friendliness, and efficiency are what it takes to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests and Team Members around the resort via a specified route in either a passenger van, bus, or trolley.
• Transport Team Members residing in staff housing on weekly trips to the grocery store and into town.
• Responsible for accurate and complete vehicle safety operation checklist.
• The driver is responsible for safety checks and preparation of the vehicle.
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle, as well as safe transport of passengers and equipment with a strong emphasis on guest service.
• Maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by the Transportation Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior guest service experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• CDL with passenger endorsement required
