Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Utah is seeking a Seasonal Guest Services Supervisor to support the front office and ensure guest, owner, and employee satisfaction at the Trail’s End Lodge front desk. The role emphasizes staff leadership, training, and efficient guest service delivery.

Responsibilities include check-in/out, reservations, transaction handling, and coordinating with the front office manager to improve processes. Equal opportunity employer and season-based employment.

Qualifications

• Staff leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent understanding of computers, systems, and guest service tools.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and settle balances upon departure.
• Give guests directions, information, and instructions.
• Make reservations for restaurants, transportation, childcare, and activities.
• Help recruit, train, and evaluate front desk staff.
• Handle daily lift ticket sales and record transactions.
• Balance and close out lift ticket sales at day end.
• Resolve guest, owner, and employee issues with urgency and empathy.
• Assist with bellstaff and concierge duties and guest requests.
• Collaborate with front office to improve processes and smooth operation.
• Create staff schedules and complete timecards.
