Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah seeks a Guest Services Supervisor to support the front office at Black Diamond Lodge. The role focuses on guest, owner, and employee satisfaction at the front desk and requires hands-on leadership of the front desk team.

You will oversee check-ins/outs, cash and lift ticket sales, and guest requests while coordinating staffing, training, and service standards to ensure smooth operations across the lobby and related services.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent understanding of computers, systems, and guest service tools.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and settle balances.
• Provide directions, information, and instructions to guests.
• Make reservations for restaurants, transportation and activities.
• Recruit, manage, train, motivate, and evaluate front desk staff.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and lift ticket sales transactions daily.
• Balance and close out lift ticket sales at end of day.
• Proactively resolve guest, owner, and employee issues with urgency and care.
• Assist bellstaff and concierge duties and guest requests.
• Help develop front desk processes for smooth operations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and timecards.
• Check guest requests three days prior to arrival and fulfill them.
• Oversee guest-facing operations including F&B, ski valet, and owner transportation.
• Ensure breakfast and après ski setups are organized.
