Job summary

Miami Rescue Mission is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor for the Center for Women in Miami, FL. The role oversees resident services, transportation, maintenance, and safety to ensure clean, secure facilities in compliance with OSHA guidelines.

You will lead a team, schedule staff, and coordinate safety trainings while maintaining a compassionate approach to residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma with 1-3 years of experience in homelessness and/or addictions.
• Must have good communication, supervisory, computer, and organization skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and make sound judgments in a fair and compassionate manner.
• Must have good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and all levels of residents, employees, volunteers and guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Leads, trains, and evaluates staff.
• Supervises Guest Services Assistants and oversees facilities with focus on cleanliness, safety and orderliness.
• Prepares and submits general maintenance requests when needed.
• Conducts weekly safety checks and coordinates periodic safety training.
• Manages transportation, laundry, security assignments and staff performance.
