Guest Services Supervisor of El Paso Water Parks

Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Guest Services Supervisor. This role involves welcoming guests, overseeing staff, and ensuring a positive environment at our water parks, which feature water slides, climbing walls, lazy rivers, kiddie playgrounds, and leisure pools.

Position Summary
The Guest Services Supervisor assists in all guest services operations, supervises staff, and coordinates programs to ensure excellent customer service. The role requires collaboration with all departments to maintain proper operation, care, and safety of the facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests warmly and manage daily operations of the guest services department.
  2. Assist in scheduling and oversee approximately 20+ staff members, including daily staff rotations and breaks.
  3. Explain ticket and season pass options, stay updated on prices, policies, and park information.
  4. Implement sales initiatives and train staff accordingly.
  5. Engage with guests, providing information and assistance regarding attractions and events.
  6. Manage special events like birthday parties, cabana rentals, and group activities.
  7. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and reconcile sales at end of day.
  8. Participate in safety and customer service training programs.
  9. Report safety concerns, discrepancies, and property issues promptly.
  10. Maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, and appearance.
  11. Attend meetings, develop positive interdepartmental relationships, and stay current with policies.
  12. Conduct departmental audits and enforce safety standards.
  13. Work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  14. Follow sanitation, safety, and OSHA procedures.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Food Handler’s certificate or ability to obtain one.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic cash handling skills and computer literacy.
Minimum Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Physical Demands

Must communicate verbally, walk, climb, kneel, lift up to 20 lbs routinely, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
