Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a friendly Guest Service Aide to support the Guest Services Manager at our Atlanta property. You will greet guests, assist with front desk functions, and ensure accurate transactions and reservations while delivering warm, professional service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Engineering and Housekeeping, handling special requests, and helping manage schedules. A positive, guest-first attitude is essential to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• On-the-job training with on-site systems and reservations workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front desk duties including PBX, reservations, guest services and check-ins/check-outs.
• Post charges accurately and communicate hotel services to guests.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping on maintenance and room status.
• Train new Guest Service Agents as needed.
• Prepare weekly schedule and maintain time cards and documentation.

Ensure that the guests are being serviced in a professional and competent manner. Smile and greet customers in a welcoming manner, as the first point of contact.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIESCan perform and assist with all the front desk functions to include but not limited to the following Guest Service Aide, PBX Operator, Guest Service Agent, Reservationists, etc. Has complete working knowledge and understands the software system, to include all daily transactions, and reservations operations.Knows how and where to post all charges and knows all the room rates. Train all new Guest Service Agents.Communicate with the Engineering Department regarding any maintenance requests from the guests.Check AM and PM discrepancy reports.
