Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a part-time Customer Service/Cashier for Harrah's Council Bluffs. You will greet guests, handle transactions, and support dining operations with a focus on friendly, professional service.

Previous cashiering and guest-service experience in a fast-paced setting is preferred; basic English literacy is required. The role includes standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or comparable experience.
• Prior customer service in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Previous cashiering experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Engages in friendly conversations with guests using the 10/5 rule.
• Operates a cash register/POS system and handles cash accurately.
• Keeps dining area clean and organized according to health standards.
• Recognizes Diamond and Platinum players to ensure proper service.
• Resolves service issues using the service recovery toolbox.
• Knows current casino events and can direct guests.
• Thank guests, invite them back and wish them luck.
