Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to provide friendly guest service.
• Understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and local regulations.
• Process cash handling, credit card and room charge transactions per policies.
• Operate a computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to proper procedures for utilizing the TMS system to control the flow of guest seating.
• Maintain a welcoming and friendly attitude, while contributing to a teamwork-based work environment.
• Greet guests and seat at tables using TMS; manage wait times and notify guests accordingly.
• Inform guests of features and promotions, answer questions and offer menu suggestions.
• Address guest concerns and inform Manager.
• Deliver food and beverages, pre-bussing and providing refills when possible.
• Set up and maintain the server assistant stand and front lobby area for a clean, orderly space.
• Answer the phone and assist with guest questions in a courteous manner.
• Deliver correct drinks and food to guests as needed.
• Practice safe food handling and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Bag and manage takeout orders and check orders for accuracy.
• Ensure guests receive a friendly farewell and solicit feedback on service.
• Observe tables and manage clean, dirty, and unoccupied tables; clean as needed.
• Accommodate guests’ needs and requests such as refilling beverages, extra silverware, etc.
• Clean and sweep around tables as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned
