SUMMARY:
Executes excellent customer service / guest interaction skills through new club membership sign-ups, explaining club benefits and point redemption, promotional coupon input and gift / cash distribution. Also assists with promotions, special events, merchandise sales and stocking
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to input and update player information by use of computer system
- Sign up of new members as the club counter and / or casino floor
- Communication of detailed information on club benefits and promotions to guests
- Issues point, merchandise, bussing and promotional cash vouchers
- Performs gift shop sales and money handling functionsOperates Micros system and maintains cash bank
- Assist with new and existing memberships pertaining to bussing group programs
- Assists with promotions and special events as needed
- Works in a dynamic guest service environment
- Adapts and executes new guest service procedures quickly
- Ability to work well and perform under pressure
- Performance of all other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Previous work in a guest service environment (preferred)
- Retail sales and / or money handling experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to type up to 30 wpm
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Constantly walking and standing
- Constant hearing, seeing and talking
- Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
- Be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
- Close spaces while working with others
- Excessive noise and smoke
