Job summary

Southside Market & BBQ in Texas is hiring for a full-time team member to greet customers, take orders, and ensure accuracy while delivering friendly, Texas-style hospitality.

You should be able to read and speak English fluently, handle basic math for transactions, maintain cleanliness, and assist other team members in a fast-paced environment. Food handler certification is required before day one, with strong customer service experience valued.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.
• Previous food handling experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Practical problem solving skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure accurate orders.
• Knowledgeable of menu and suggestive selling.
• Ensure order accuracy and communicate needs to team.
• Take, package and correctly distribute orders to guests in line.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service line.
• Weigh and cut meat to exact specifications.
