Job summary

Comfort Inn and Suites Logan near University in Logan, UT is seeking a Guest Service Representative to be the first point of contact for guests, handle check-in/check-out, and assist with reservations and information about rooms, rates, and amenities.

Experience with hotel reservation systems (ChoiceAdvantage, OnQ, Opera) and strong customer service and communication skills are essential. On-site role with potential monthly bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a Guest Service Representative, Receptionist, or similar role
• Experience with hotel reservations software, such as ChoiceAdvantage, OnQ, and Opera
• Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking, Expedia, and TripAdvisor
• Exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptionally friendly and helpful service to all our guests
• Be a team player and take the initiative to help your teammates
• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with our housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance staff to accommodate all guests' needs
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
• Engage guests in our loyalty program to enhance their stay, gather business information to support corporate clients, and encourage positive guest feedback through review platforms. Monthly bonuses are awarded for achieving these goals

Compensation

$12.50 - $13.50 hourly
