Job summary

Peddler’s Village in Bucks County is hiring part-time staff for the Visitor and Event Center, in our Guest Services Department. You will assist guests in person and by phone, sell gift cards, process prepaid event orders, and help with reservations, plus support the Village General Store.

This role involves festivals and events, walking or standing for extended periods, weekend and evening hours, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Restocking and organizing Village General Store merchandise.
• Working Festivals and Events (indoors or outdoors).

Peddler’s Village is hiring part-time staff to work at our Visitor and Event Center in our Guest Services Department.

The Peddler’s Village Guest Services team works in the Visitor and Event Center assisting guests by providing exceptional, friendly and efficient customer service in person and on the phone. This includes answering busy phone calls and in person questions about the Village and Village events, selling gift cards, processing pre-paid event orders and assisting with reservations, as well as working in the Village General Store selling and restocking retail merchandise and working during Festivals and Events.

Duties include

Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Peddler’s Village activities, promotions, events, restaurants, hotel and shop information.

• Greet guests and answer their questions in a friendly manner
• Answer guests phone calls, voice mails, & emails professionally
• Process online orders for pre-paid events and gift cards
• Operate registers for Village General Store purchases and in-person event purchases

Requirements

• Weekends, nights and some holidays
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
