Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a customer-focused team member to support a public facility, circulating among patrons to ensure service is satisfactory and addressing complaints promptly.

You will assist patrons with equipment, safety instructions, demonstrations, and classes; plan and promote events; may guide other staff, and perform additional duties as assigned. This role may require working evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• At least six (6) months of work or volunteer experience that involved dealing with the general public.

Responsibilities

• Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints.
• Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
• Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
• May provide work guidance to other staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
