Job summary

Grand Portage Lodge & Casino is seeking a friendly Guest Services/Player's Club Representative to greet guests, provide information, and resolve inquiries and complaints at our Portage, Michigan venue.

You will enroll and service Player's Club records, inform guests of promotions and events, make announcements using the intercom, and perform other duties as assigned; a high school diploma and ability to pass a background check for a gaming license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle complaints.
• Ability to pass background check to obtain gaming license.
• Basic computer, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests by providing information and resolving complaints.
• Enroll and service player club records.

Description:
Interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Some duties included but not limited to are enrolling and servicing club member's records, informing guests of promotions and events, making announcements using the intercom system and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications:
Must have customer service skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Computer, organizational and communication skills and knowledge of office equipment is an asset. Must pass background investigation to obtain a gaming license.

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
